Hi there,
I am just wondering if anyone out there has created an ROI Tracker using a BI Dashboard. I am looking for a template of some sort and maybe issues you ran into.
Thanks!
I haven't, and I guess most people here have not as well.
So to help yourselft better, if you can share some background of ROI tracker and your requirement, I think you would get more valuable advice.
Thanks Eric,
We want to do an Return on Investment Dashboard for a set of products that need other products to continue to be filled through time. I am thinking to track those products after when the products were installed but I am having trouble with how to visualize it and maybe just ideas on formatting that was used and ideas on presentation that sort of thing.
What is your data like? Have you played the visuals in Power BI Desktop? I think a line chart or combo chart might be proper, as it can show a time-trending data. May a waterfall chart is good as well, it shows increase and decrease.
I have done a fair bit within Power BI Desktop with several visuals in different dashboards and I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on layout for a dashboard. I am thinking a running counter of sales and probably a waterfall chart or the KPI graphic althoughI find I get odd results when the KPI graphic is showing the overall full look and not filtered in any way.
