Return boolean if value is contained in a non blanked column
Hello,
I try to add a boolean (True or False) if a substring is contained in a non blanked other column.
Here is my sample data:
| Entreprise ID | Modules |
| 00505755 | Traffic Monitoring - EVPL,Order Online - EVPL,Invoices,Technical support,Customized reports |
| 000SUI44 |
What I would like is:
| Entreprise ID | Modules | EVPL |
| 00505755 | Traffic Monitoring - EVPL,Order Online - EVPL,Invoices,Technical support,Customized reports | True |
| 000SUI44 | False |
So far I have writtent this:
= Table.AddColumn(#"Type modifié", "EVPL", each Text.Contains("Order Online - EVPL", [Modules]))
But it give me this output, wich is totally the opposite:
| Entreprise ID | Modules | EVPL |
| 00505755 | Traffic Monitoring - EVPL,Order Online - EVPL,Invoices,Technical support,Customized reports | False |
| 000SUI44 | True |
Any help would be really appreciated, thanks !
Hello N7Legend,
You can modify your formula to use the Text.Contains function with the "EVPL" substring and the [Modules] column:
= Table.AddColumn(#"Type modifié", "EVPL", each Text.Contains([Modules], "EVPL"))Let me know if you might require further assistance.
