Hi there,
I am relatively new to power BI but my question is:
What would be best practice to capture month end reporting at a point in time regardless of any retrospective changes that may occur to the data after month end?
I guess the clear answer in a perfect world is to ensure that the dashboard is refreshed only once at month end, but in practice this may not always be possible.
Can anyone make any other recommendations about how I may go about doing this or for this kind of reporting, is there functionality within power BI that may be able to assist.
Many thanks.
Mark.

Hi@ marksappleton
I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now, But you can do it in data source like backup the data before you refresh in Power BI.
Best Regards,
Lin
