Retrive data from visual object to use as parameters in query

Hi all

I've this 2 visual object that list YEAR and MONTH from a [Calendar Table]

I need to retrieve these 2 records as parameters and use them to refresh the sql query

Please can somebody suggest me the right way or give me some help?

If can help
I find the matter, i lose this step:
"using DirectQuery mode"
now it's working.

  thanks for reply ... this maybe can be good for my query ... can you help me more with M code filter? There I find some difficulty ...
  As you can see in my first post, I need to filter for "Year" and "Month" the column [Transaction Date]
