Hi,
For map visuals in Power BI, is it possible to restrict how far a user can zoom in on a map?
I would like to display the general area (Ideally using the circle/bubble feature) based on the longitude/latitude points, without showing the specific location. Ideally, users would be able to use the map visual to zoom in, pan, etc without being able to pinpoint the exact locations.
I've tried the following:
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous,
AFAIK, current power bi map visual not support these options, perhaps you can submit an idea for this requirement.

Hi @parry2k ,
Thank you for your reply.
I was referring to the "Map" visualisation, which uses Bing.
Unfortunately I don't think the shape map option will be suitable for my objective, but thank you for that option though.
@Anonymous what you mean by default map? There are 3 - 4 map options, shape map doesn't allow to zoom in and if zoom option is off, but not sure if that will get you what you are looking for, but on other maps, there was no way to disable zoom option.
