Resizing bar width in stacked column chart
Hi All - I am making a stacked column chart where only the first four bars have two values. I would like to increase the width of the columns, but cannot figure out how to do that.

On the options go to x-axis and find the minimum category width maximum size and inner padding that adjust the size of the bars.
Some of this options are only available if you have the x-axis as categorical, not on continuous.

MFelix This worked for me; Change the axis type from Date to text - it still showed the discreet dates as at the bottom of the formatting you can choose the format that it goes too. Just be sure to check the date 'numbers' are actually dates and not text.
✅ Workaround: Use a Category Axis Instead
To force bars to touch exactly, you can:
1. Convert the x-axis back to a Category Axis
- Right-click the x-axis → Format Axis
- Under Axis Type, choose Text axis (instead of Date axis)
2. Set Gap Width to 0%
- Right-click any bar → Format Data Series
- Set Gap Width to 0%
This treats each week as a discrete category and removes all spacing between bars.
I had the same problem. I solved it by changing the category axis from automatic (date) to a text axis.
