Resizing Dashboard tiles

Hi All,

To begin i guess we made a wrong choice of tool, so far Tableau looks more friendly. Our owes with PBI are never ending. I hope someone can help us with this issue.

We are trying to resize the tile in a dashboard, every time we select the botttom right corner and move it to the desired size it owuldn't just stay there , it reverts back to the shaded portion. Any help here please?

 

Secondly can we duplicate a dashboard between workspaces?

    Hi

     

    not sure what is going on with the resizing of a tile but you can't share a dashboard across workspaces.

    I'm not sure what you mean, can you please explain more about this scenario?

    If you mean you want to resize your dashboard tiles as same as your report design, it is impossible.
    Current power bi service only supports to setting specific size scale of tiles. It will try to autofill modified tile size to most nearly scale instead of keeping the size you modified. (similar to windows smart screen tiles)

    3 yrs later I'm experiencing the same. I dont think the previous replies understood a dashboard tile in BI service vs a report view tile.

     

    In the dashboard I find not all tiles will behave the same way when re-sizing. Grabing the corner handle to re-size a tile in the dashboard seems to bug out on some tiles for me i.e. I lose control while trying to re-size it and it never ends up popping into a default aspect ratio. I think it's a bug - MS if you're reading please have a look at it.
