I have around 5 .pbix published and up to 100 users...
I get asked almost daily about a glitch/bug/data error/inconsistency, and 99.9% of the times it gets fixed by saying to the user:
"please press control + f5 on the report, to fully refresh all the visuals."
I also have this image where I tell them to also click this:
I believe the issue is that the filters remain as they are, even if the user closes and reopens the window... This means that if the user selects one filter, he/she might forget about it next day, but it is still applied...
Is there a way to force this automatically on the user end, to reset filters, lets say daily...
If not, I wonder how other people fixes this?
If you use a bookmark to get to the page with filters, you will need to update the bookmark before publishing.
Simply go to the page you have set the filters on, open the Bookmark pane (via the View Menu Tab), right click on the ... of the page's bookmark, and click update. Publish the report and it should now be fine.
I didn't need to change the settings for Persistent Filters in this use case.
Hi @ovonel ,
You can once try to enable the option of "Not letting the end users to save filter selection" by checking the below highlighted box in the PBIX file -> Options and Settings and then publishing the report to the PBI Service.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,

@ovonel , There is a reset button on service report that should be sued for this purpose not the browser refresh
Also, If user open report from workspace again, should reset the filter
