Report sells date datetime format automatically changes from 24hr format to 12Hr format

Hi All ,

 

I need help to check issue !!

 

I have created dashboard in which on desktop addition its time format in 24H example (26-01-2024 13:33:00) but when I am publishng it on services , it is automatically changes to (26-01-2024 01:33 PM ).

 

According to my requirement I need it 24 hr format on both dektop and services .

Hi @AmitTailor27 ,

 

Try to force the change of the date/time to a timezone:

The default ones used by Power BI usually revert to the ones on the service because you are not setting it has a fixed value.

 

Also try to for the format on the column in the desktop instead of using the default one that may match your computer but changing location also change that format:

I have tried Solution suggested by you .

 

on Transformation data I have fixed date format .

after that data looks fine on PowerBi desktop .

but after publishing it again changed to 12h format .

You also need to force the format of the column, on the images below you can see two values one with the default value and the other (2) with the force date check the image on Desktop and on service:

You can see that on the service date 2 is having the correct value use the following code for the format:

 

dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss
