Report Filter shows (Blank) - query doesn't have any blanks....

Hi all

mostly self-taught, so apologies if this is blindingly obvious!   I have a PowerBI file with data pulling from Excel; I have one report which has two slicers - one of those is a text filter with 3 options or (Blank). I've been to the query and there are no (Blank)s in the table - there are no filters on the query and checking all of them, none of the column filters bring up (Blank) as an option.

So basically the slider is showing (Blank) as an option, but the query (i.e. the report source) has no (Blank) entries.

How do I get the slicer/filter to ignore (Blank) so it's no longer an option?

If that table is on the one-side of a one-to-many relationship then the blank row will be created if there are entries in the many-side which do not appear in the one-side. If that is the case then you need to either make sure that all entries on the many-side have a matching entry on the one-side, or remove the entries from the many-side which don't have a match.

Yep - didn't realise a relationship would do that; removing it has removed the issue. Much appreciated!
