Report Design Suggestions

Hi All,

We need to implement a report as below.

expected report.png

Now the requirement is when user selects any One value(Ex:    Previous Quarter)
in slicer, user should not be able select year or quarter(Year selection
or Quarter Selection become invalid)

Is there a way to hide Year or Quarter Slicer, when user selects one values(Ex:
Previous Quarter) in time slicer.

Any other recommended design ideas?

Hello @powerbieng

You can't hide an entire slicer based on the selection in another slicer but, what you can do, is filter the list that appears in the slicer based on the selection in another slicer.

For example, if we have a master measure, something like Sales = SUM ( Orders[Amount] ) or whatever top tier calculation you want to use you apply a filter to all the slicers.

In the image below both the Year and Qtr-YR slicers have the filter [Sales Amount] is not blank applied.  When I select a value in one, the other is filtered to only the matching portion of the list.
