Report - Create tabs automatically

Hello,

I have a report for a building site and the buildings located on that site. I have a tab for the site and a tab for a building. I would like a macro? or DAX query or something to execute for Power BI to prompt me for the number of buildings on the site and  create a tab(s) from the building tab for each of the site's buildings. Can this be done?

Thank you,

Carol

@samye228 unfortunately it is not possible, but you can do this in a paginated report I am not sure if that is what you are looking for.

@samye228 ,

Power BI doesn't support automatic tab creation with DAX or macros.

  • Use Drillthrough: Right-click a building on the site page to view its details on the building tab.
  • Use Slicers: Have one building tab and use a slicer to select and display data for different buildings.

I hope I answered your question!
