Replacing a field by another one in the visualizations pane (so as to keep the formatting)

Hello

I am new to power BI and power BI is connected to an ssas cube that I don't control (and where fields name are sometimes modified).

I have about 20 visualizations where I need to replace an old field with a new one.

In tableau there is a way to edit the name of the old field and type the new one instead (or replace all instances of the old field with the new one everywhere). Is there something similar in power BI?   (instead of removing the old field, adding the new one and redoing the specific column settings)?

Thank you

Laurence

Hi @amitchandak

Thanks for your answer

Unfortunatly it doesn't (I'm not sure how the changes are done in the cube) and either my views are broken or the field with the old name remains and I need to replace it.

@LaurenceV , I doubt you have to replace.  Because rename a column will rename them in visual too
