Replacement for Bling Map

Hi,
I use Bling Maps in PBI for routing details. The visual is set to retire by June 2025. Is there any replacement.
Features required:
1. Routing: Source and Destination

2. World Map

3. Size of the routes to be based on another measure (no of trucks).

4. Tooltips for Source and Destination.

    Hi Feba 

    Since Bling Map is retiring, the best free replacement for routing visuals in Power BI is the Route Map custom visual from AppSource.

    It supports everything you need:

    • Routes from Source → Destination
    • Line thickness based on a measure (like number of trucks)
    • World map
    • Tooltips for source and destination

    Other options:

    • Azure Maps (built-in, free) – works for points but cannot create flow/route lines with variable thickness
    • Icon Map Pro – powerful but paid, not free

    So for a fully free solution that replicates Bling Map’s routing features, Route Map with OpenStreetMap is your go-to visual

    I think the only reliable path after Bing Map retires is Azure Maps… and if u need measure‑scaled route lines, Route Map is the one free visual that still behaves—set Origin/Dest, drop ur measure on width; if it still stutters, trim rows or pre‑agg the routes.
