Replace '#' Errors in date field import

Hi,

Im trying to import data records into a table from SAP BW excel report.  One of the fields is a Date field where the value coming from the report is a "#" value.  i know I could just exclude these from the import but i want to import the records as there is relevant data in the other columns relating to Month, Customers, Values etc

I have tried the add custom column but that function requests a date format.  Is there another way apart from creating a couple of custom columns to convert date to and from text formats.
