Reorder columns in Report Pane
Hello everyone,
I have a table with 250 columns in my DataWH. I want to pull most of the columns on the tabular view on my reporting pane in the same order as they are in the DW. However it is bit difficult to implement this as they are getting alphabetically sorted on the reporting view pane. I had to look all the columns 1 by 1. ANy solution for this so that I can get some order on my reporting view as in my data view?

No way..
In Power Query you keep DataWH positions but alphabetically sorted in Power BI

Hi rathimukul7 ,
When you're editing a report in Power BI, you can choose a column to define the sort order of another column. Refer to
Sort one column by another column in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Sort a Column with a Custom Order in Power BI - RADACAD
You can directly sort in the data view to check.

I want to sort the list of column names in the visulization pane. Not the data.
1 of my datawarehouse table has around 250 columns and I want to display it in tabular format in my visulization. However they should be in same order as in Warehouse. Challenge is when we have table and its associated column/KPI's in the alphabetical order and thus challenging for an analyst to get them pull on the visulization 1 by 1. I hope you got the query now. Its not related to data,it is related to structure of WH columns and I want the same in Power BI
