Rename people based on unique ID

Hello all,

I'm struggling to do this and hope you'll enlighten me.

I want to rename people based on their unique id in our database. So if there is 2 'John Smith' with different id, I want one of them to be call 'John Smith2', but if they have the same id, then 'John Smith'.

Here is a example with the expected result:

last_name   first_name      ID               Expexted result
Smith          John              123              John Smith
Smith          John              123              John Smith

Smith          John              123              John Smith

Smith          John              678              John Smith2

Smith          John              678              John Smith2

Doe             Jane              987              Jane Doe

Doe             Jane              987              Jane Doe
Smith          John              458              John Smith3

New Full Name =
VAR __rank = RANKX ( FILTER ( ALL ( Names ) , Names[full_Name] = EARLIER ( Names[full_Name] ) ), Names[ID], , ASC, Dense )
RETURN
IF ( __rank = 1, Names[full_Name], Names[full_Name] & __rank )

Hello again! Is there a way to add this column in power bi query? It's working well when I do a calculated measure, but I would like to do it directly in query to use this column after with something else, is that possible?

Wow thank you! And so simple too!
