How do I rename my Power BI dashboard in Power BI desktop when using a project (.pbip) file? Renaming the pbip doesn't seem to change anything, as the 'report display name' is unchanged when I rename it.
I know I can rename it in the service after it's published, but i'd prefer to rename the project itself so if I make changes and publish over my existing publication, I won't have to rename it again.

Hi @Rueben ,
After my testing, it is true that when you rename your pbip file your report presentation name does not change, it stays the same as the first time you named that pbip file. But when you upload to Power BI Service, it will display your dashboards and semantic models with your current renamed name. Here is the same pbip file uploaded to Power BI Service, renamed from Test to Test1
Best regards,
Albert He
