This is a bit of an odd request from a client feedback meeting and I'm not sure if this is possible. Basically the client wants to have a link option, but they don't want the pop up tooltip when you hover above it.
Is it possible to keep the hyperlink without the pop up?
hi @AmazingRandom ,
is disabling tooltips for that visual an option for you?
Uncertain if you can disable tooltips for a specific series/cell element at this point.
Maybe a workaround is a blank/dummy measure in the tooltips pane if disabling isn't an option.
I do not have that option on my table no. And the tooltip is only for the link colum, so I'm not sure it is doable on a cell/series element. This seems a bit nitpicky so if it is too much of a hassle, I may just advise them to not leave the mouse hovering above the hyperlink
Thanks for the reply from @adudani.
Actually that there aren't any way to avoid the popping up tooltip.
Or maybe you can visit the Microsoft Fabric Ideas platform, where you can share your suggestions and contribute to improving Power BI:
