Removing decimals for best performance

I have a big table with many columns that are shown as decimal numbers instead of whole numbers. How should I modify these columns to have 0 decimal places. In power query I am afraid if I do it there it will break the query folding, or shall I change the decimal point to 0 in power bi desktop. What is the best way to do this to make sure my report continues refreshing at the most efficient speed. Thanks

  • Hi akhaliq7 , you can do either way. If you change in power query, it doesn't break your query. If you have that doubt in your mind, copy the file in your local machine and test on duplicate file. As you saying it is large data, I would recommand to do this through Power Query.
