Removing a filter Context just on one chart

Currently have a Report with YTD Month selector (e.g. selecting March '23 means SUM of all values from Jan '23 - Mar '23).

It was done using YTDTOTAL DAX which is working great.

Above formula require a single selection of Month within the page.

On another visual within the same page, there is a breakdown of values by each month. When selecting one month, the SUM above is displaying the correct YTD total, but the chart below is only displaying the selected month, meaning the time series is just showing one single point.

Current setup is:

X-axis = Date (from date table)

Y-axis = SUM of Values

Is there a way to ignore selected date value in the filter drop down?

I attempted to use CALCULATE(SUM(Values),ALL(Date)) but it ended up still displaying a single amount, but with the amount total in whole dataset.

Thanks!

Hi @querylearner11

The best here would be to edit interactions between your visuals (documentation here). I think you should edit the interaction from your slicer to your second graphic.

Thank you so much! Never knew about the edit interaction button.

Much appreciated.
