Removing Values from matrix columns except for total

I am trying to build a visual where our marketing team can search for specific skus and see all of the relevent data in a matrix.  But when I add data into the values tab, it adds those vaules for all of the columns.  I just want the total at the end of the visual and not on a per-column basis (the number is the same anyway).

From the included picture, I want to remove the "Units Sold" from each column, except for the very last one "Total." How can I do this?  I have tried playing with the settings in "Column Subtotals" but it doesn't remove what I want it to.

Currently, "Units Sold" is a measure with the following code:

Units Sold =

VAR UnitsSold =

-- IF (sum(PL_TSO[quantity])=0, BLANK(),

CALCULATE(
    sum(PL_TSO[quantity]),
    KEEPFILTERS('PL_TSO'[date]),
    REMOVEFILTERS(PL_TSO[cr_dr], PL_TSO[desc_short], PL_TSO[apl_category], PL_TSO[apl_line], PL_TSO[apl_line_i]),
    PL_TSO[TYPE]="Order" && (PL_TSO[line_item]="product_sales_fba" || PL_TSO[line_item]="product_sales_mfn")

)

RETURN UnitsSold

I am unable to add it as a column as well.  Thanks in advance!

  • While you can change your measure to return BLANK() for the matrix cells, it will not help you with the column header "Units Sold"  - that will still eat up horizontal space.

    Either shorten the name, or abuse the total for Amount Per Net Unit to show the Units Sold number instead.
