Hello,
I am pulling data into PowerBI from an external web-based report. A column was deleted from the report and is unable to be added back in. When refreshing the dataset in Desktop, I receive the following error:
The column 'Application Status: Interview/Final Interview Date' of the table wasn't found.
I tried to remove the column within Transfrom Data but received more error messages.
The data from this columns is not used in any visualizations BUT there are PowerQuery steps that impact this column (for example, I changed the data type from text to Date.Time). It is a very large dataset with at least a hundred applied steps in PowerQuery that I am terrified of losing.
What is the best way to delete this column and remove errors so I can refresh the dashboard successfully.
Thanks!
@Anonymous , Make sure you remove it from all steps, Change type, rename, Formula etc
