I have a desktop report which sources data from a local SQL Server view. The data is demonstration data. When I publish the report and embed into my website and a user signs into Power BI, they get a message to say they cannot access because of row level security. Is there anyway I can remove this for public access. I am using the Report for demonstration.

Hi @paulfell29 ,
You can disable row-level security (RLS) for your report by removing the roles and rules defined in Power BI Desktop. To do this, open the report in Power BI Desktop, go to the "Modeling" tab, and select "Manage Roles". From there, you can delete any roles that have been defined. Once you have removed all roles, save the report and publish it to Power BI Service. This should allow public access to the report without any RLS restrictions. However, please note that this will remove any data-level security that you may have implemented in the report.
If it does not help, please provide more details.

Does this make the dashboard public for anyone to see or only those that are invited to the dashboard
With the help of MS, I was able to make entirely public. Anyone can see.
I only want those "invited" or those i "share" the access with to see all the data. but there is row level security. If i remove RLS, would that make it more open than i want it to be. Dont want people outside of my organization to see the dashboard.
What is the process for making that happen?
