Remove blank column in matrix and dynamic slicer

Hi everyone,
I currently have 2 issues:
1. Is there a way to remove blank columns from the matrix visual in Power BI? I tried manually adjusting their width and height, but the changes don’t persist when I reopen the report.

2. Can Power BI set a dynamic slicer based on the selected value?

- I have Project List dashboard: include Project_ID, Project_Name,START_DATE, END_DATE....data
- I also have Project Detail dashboard: include Project_ID, Member, PM,... data
I want the date slicer in the Project Detail report (accessed via drillthrough from the Project List) to automatically adjust its range based on the selected project. Specifically, the slicer's start date should be six months before the project's START_DATE, and the end date should be today.
Example:

Project A (01/01/2025 - 31/01/2025) --> so the slicer will be: 05/07/2024 - 29/09/2025
Project B (01/09/2025 - 01/10/2025) --> so the slicer will be: 05/03/2025 - 29/09/2025

Thanks in advance!

@Amyries , if you have created based between filter on start and end date, make sure you use [end Date] <> Blank()
Make sure the date or dimension on the Column covers all values.
The last option uses a visual level filter to remove blank values

Tbh, I haven’t fully understood the previous responses.

Regarding the first issue, I’ve already found a solution, so there’s no need to discuss it further.

However, I’m still working on a workaround for the second issue and haven’t resolved it yet. Could you please assist me with this? Thank you in advance for your support.
