Remove Duplicates based on all the tables
Hi,
I need to remove duplicates for the entire table as in Excel. Is it possible? I tried removed duplicates, selecting the entire table
Hower, then it shows in red.
Also is it possible to see which duplicates the query delete?
Thanks,
Clara

clarainesgg If you select the first column, hold down shift and select the last column and then right-click and remove duplicates, it should remove duplicate rows. I don't believe it is possible to see which duplicates the query removed. The step in Advanced Editor is:
#"Removed Duplicates" = Table.Distinct(#"Changed Type")

Thanks for Greg_Deckler 's reply.
Hi clarainesgg ,
Are there any duplicate rows in your table? If the table does not have any duplicate rows, whether you use Remove Duplicates in Power Query to de-duplicate the entire table or DAX: DISTINCT(Table).
Neither of these will work.
