Remove Columns from "Show Data Point As Table" or Disable Functionality Altogether?

I have a visual on a report that presents the "Show datapoint as table" option to my users.

Upon selecting this option it presents the below table. I want to be able to control what shows on this table. I want to remove the "STC PERSON ID" column as I don't want unique identifiers visible to my users.

In Desktop, to the right of this table I see the columns listed. When I remove the STC PERSON ID column, it removes it from the table but that change doesn't hold. It shows back again when I exit table view and select "Show Datapoint As Table" again.

How can I control the columns visible on this table OR ideally, remove the Show datapoint as table" option altogether?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi  mljones ,

As far as I know, Power BI is not able to disable the "Show data point as a table" option.

I suggest you to use measure to replace the original value on the visual object. This may disable some options due to limitations.

    Refer to:

Show the data that was used to create the report visual - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
