Remove Cherwell Connector Beta

I had installed the Powebi Cherwell Data ( beta ) .... Now PowerBI is spitting this message to me ...   I an using the Microsoft Store Power BI version Version: 2.88.1144.0 64-bit (December 2020) ...

I am not going to use the connector , We have access to the SQL Server so we are just going to write queries ..

I can not find anything that will remove it ...  I have found that you can lower the security so it will not tell me this ... But I would like to make it go away

thanks for any help

Hi @Anonymous,

According to the following blogs, I found power bi custom connectors seem installed on 'C:\<user_dir_on_powerbi_desktop_machine>\Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors.'.

Fit to window view Deploy Power BI connector

Configure Power BI connector

Perhaps you can try to remove these connectors from the installed folder and remove the corresponding data connector configuration and restart power bi desktop to confirm if these steps work.

Hi @Anonymous,

I think it may relate to the 'security' settings of custom connector usage, power bi will show the notifications when you use a third party custom connector without trusted certification.
You can manage these on the option mentioned in below link:

Connector extensibility in Power BI

@Anonymous , Just check with the developer(Cherwell) does it require any certificate to loaded to windows or missing certificate
