Remedy force data into Power BI

Hi,

i have read that you can use the 'Salesforce Objects' connector built into Power BI but im not having much luck with the custom URL. We are using

https://XXXXXXXXX-remedy.lightning.force.com/lightning/page/home

which the connector doesn't like so i have changed to

https://XXXXXXXXX-remedy.salesforce.com/lightning/page/home

which the connector likes but when i get to the next screen and click sign in i get the error message We're unable to connect. Please delete your credentials and try again later

Would be interested to hear if anyone has managed this way

thanks

Mike

    Hi Dunnes32 ,
Based on your description, you could try that deleting and re-entering the credentials could resolve the connection issue. Be sure to clear any credentials stored in Power BI and then try logging in again.
Alternatively, the authentication process may be affected by browser compatibility issues. Make sure you are using a supported browser for the OAuth authentication process. Switching to Microsoft Edge (Chromium) for OAuth authentication may help.

  • thanks for your response.

Turns out it was a very simple issue of connection using the production option and using remedyforce login instead of a salesforce login!!!
