Releation between Date

Hi , 

I do have such several tables in  BI , Looks like Date table is in relationship with many tables, While I visualize on the report , the filter of date showing all of the date calendar i formed. Meanwhile , i'd filtered in only the month and year i require. On the other hand, the month i filter also display the month that had not been occured yet in Master Data.
I'm not sure whether we can change or we have any other tips to eliminate it until the data in. 
My objective is show only the latest date of the filter between those tables. 
Or you have any best practice to connect between relationship to be much better ? 
I'm New in BI :).
