Releases for Desktop for Report Server
I've read that the releases for Report Server are scheduled for every 4 months I assume that is the actual Report Server application, and not Desktop for Report Server.
Does Desktop for Report Server get updated as frequently as Desktop for cloud? If not, what is the frequency of releases?

Look, considering that when you use the Advanced Download option for downloading Report Server and click Download and have the option to download the newest version of the Desktop (32 bit or 64 bit) as well as Report Server, I would say that it is a pretty good bet that they get released at the same time.

The Desktop RS version is updated at the same time as Report Server. They should coincide with one another I believe because you have to use the version of the Desktop RS that corresponds with your version of Report Server.
