Relative date slicer last X weeks each year
- 1 year ago
Joshuamulder09 You could use WEEKNUM to get the min and max week numbers and then use ALL to bring all dates back into context and then filter from there. You could use a similar method to determine if all years are selected or not and calculate accordingly. Would need more information to be more specific.
Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
Hi, thanks for your response. I’ve already solved it. I added an extra column to my date table with:
RelativeWeek = WEEKNUM([Date], 2) - WEEKNUM(TODAY(), 2)
and used that as a slicer. I’m just not sure if it will work correctly when it’s January, for example.
