Relationships wont be created?

Hi,

 

I need a relationship between 2 tables.  If I use the "drag and drop" feature it works as intended, after dragging and dropping the relationship window appears to finalise settings.. set cardinality and cros filtering etc.. then hit ok, I get the "working" pop up window and the swirling icon.. then it just dissapears and the relationship is not set up? no errors, no nothing?

 

If I hit the "manage relationships" button on the ribbon, same thing.. goes through all the motions but no relationship? 

 

No matter what I do the relationship wont set up? 

 

what is this behavior? any ideas whats going on here? And how to fix?

    James_bowdidge  Kindly follow below method.
    1) Check data type for both primary column in your data table. (we need to ensure same data type)
    2) Validate the column profile - check for blank rows or any data descripency like ? * / or any garbage word in your data.
    3) Kindly turn marked feature from Option and setting from Power bi desktop.


    Once enabled then try to reload your file and then try again from Relationship editor.
