Relationships not working

Hello Community. I have a problem with a relationship that I guess could be the cause of my problem. So I needed two columns that were on different tables. So after merging using a Primary Key, and loading the column I wanted on a table, I am experiencing that or some values are correct in the table visual for that column. However, other values, bring the total in the table visual for the same column. The Visual table(Report Tab) below shows what I am explaining:

Primary Keycolumn1FromTable1(text) column2FromTable1(text)column3FromTable1(text)column1FromTable2(Value)column2FromTable2(Date)column3FromTable1(Column of interest)
1CLient AProduct AState ARevenueAForecastprojectcloseDate139456
2Client BProduct BState B RevenueBForecastprojectcloseDate234662
3Client CProduct CState C RevenueCForecastprojectcloseDate3

89534

4Client Dproduct AStateBRevenueDForecastprojectcloseDate2

56,784,465

5Client Eproduct CState DRevenue BForecastProjectCloseDate4

45510

6Client Fproduct BState E Revenue EForecastProjectCLoseDate1

56,784,465

As you can see for Primary key 4 and 6 , the far end column on the VIsual table has a very high value. This value is the total for that column. I am more used to the total showing for the whole column when a relationship does not work. But now this relationship is somewhat working partially. Any ideas to solve this?

Hi @Datagulf ,

Could you pls share your pbix file ,and remember to remove confiential data.

You can also check if there are spaces in the fields, which is why some of the relationships don't work, alternatively you can refer to:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/relationships-troubleshoot

Best Regards

Lucien
