Hi All,
I have a question regarding some relationships. I have three tables. When I create two Slicers: 'Stock_days' and 'Inventory Qty' and filter them as I need, all works fine. However I would like to remove slicers and filter data by clicking on some rows.
Please see the eample below:
When I choose any row in the first table, Table 2 and 3 are changing properly.
But then I want to choose more details in Table 2 to make changes in Table 3 only, unfortunately when I do that Table 1 and Table 3 are changing.
Is there any way to set relationships, that system can see: Selection in Table 1, Selection in Table 2, output in Table 3 filtered by previous selections.
Like I mentioned above, when I use Slicers, all is ok, but want to remove slicers.
Please help.
Thank you,

Hi @lbendlin
Thank you for replying.
All tables that I mentioned above have figures from Main Table, however Stock_days and Inventory Qty rows are based on dim_tables (Table 2 and 3).
Plase see the relationships:
I was trying to use 'Cross filter direction: Both' but it didn't help.
Please support.
Thank you.
Use the fields from Table 2 and Table 3 (your dimension tables) for the visual columns and filters and fields from the main table (the fact table) for the values.
Hi @lbendlin
This is what I do.
When I click on one table the other tables change, however I am wodering is there any option to do that in grading, like:
Table 1 changes Table 2 and 3,then when I click on Table 2, only Table 3 will change - so basically, can matrix tables work like slicers. When I add slicers it works as it should, but I am curious if it is possible without slicers.
Thanks.
Probably not but try switching between cross highlighting and cross filtering
What is the relation between these tables? Is Table 2 dependent on Table 1 and Table 3 dependent on Table 2? Or are Tables 2 amd 3 independent of each other but both dependent on Table 1?
