Relationship with GUID does not work

Hello Power BI community,

I have a table with data. In one column the GUID ID from the user, who created the line, is named.

So I upload the table with all users and made a relationship between those tables with the GUIDs (example {AAFDB846-2F12-44F0-BD11-A4C900A06BC4})

When I would add the real name in the table Power BI do not find the User.

However, when I download the table and make a vlookup in excel it works.

What went wrong?

Greetings,

Anna

@Anna422173 maybe there is an empty space or hidden nonprintable character, try to clear and trim this column in the PQ and see if that helps.

Hello @parry2k ,

trim has no effect. I also add the function upper. this did not help too...
