Relationship table preview blank

I am trying to create a relationship between two tables, however the CPC table preview is blank, which concerns me because the table is populated in Query.

 

It is a DirectQuery table to SQL.

 

Any ideas on whether this is an issue or the impact - if so, how to resolve?

      First thing you'll want to check is that the blank table actually contains data.  Create a simple visual that only cares about that single table and see if you get data appearing.

      I'm having this same problem. Dynamic Query accessible table, with data (I made a visual) but the relationship preview for that table is empty. When I select the related columns and click OK, Power BI Desktop locks up completely. I have to kill the task in Task Manager to continue.

    Hello, I ran in to this same problem today with a trying to connect a direct query table and my preview shows blank just like yours.  Were you able to figure out the problem.  Could you share the solution if you figured it out.
