Relationship is free from errors but it returns only Blank (posts without data)

Hi,

i have two relationships in my dashboard of which one works perfectly fine and the other don't.

They are built exactly the same way but with different data.

When i activate the not working relationship it shows only (Blank) in my visual.

There is no blank values in the table.

I can see the data if I in the visual choose "show posts without data". But they cannot be used in the slicer.

How can the relationship not give me any notes of error if it then doesnt find a relation?

It is Many to One since the main table contains several posts from the customer chosen.

The relationship is very basic. And the formatting is Text.

Lookup-table:

CustomerID |   CustomerName

CID12345          |   The Company

Main-table:

CustomerID

CID12345

I do the relationship on the CustomerID and i try the slicer on The Company.

Best Regards,

Peter

Thank you for you reply, but it turned out to be a space in front of the CustomerID in the sourcefile.

Problem solved, sorry for taking up your time.

To activate the inactive relationship in Data model, You should use USERELATIONSHIP function to achieve the results.

USERELATIONSHIP function converts the inactive relationship to active.

Please refer to this BLOG for more explanation.
