Hi, I am trying to import data from SSAS cube to create report instead of live connection that not allow new calculation/measures. But the selected fields(dimension+measures)all displayed in one object in Relationships View. I wonder if nothing to do to fix this, because when I add some addtional fields next time, they comes into a separate object without relationship. They cannot used into the same report......means every time I have to make sure import all required columns otherwise build it from scratch?? Anyone can advice?
Thank you!!

Hi @Qxi_623,

When you use the "import data" mode to import data from SSAS Cube database, it will generate fields based on checked dimensions and measures and create one table in desktop. All used fact tables and their relationship in cube will not be imported to desktop. So when you use import mode to get SSAS cube data, you need to check all required dimensions and measures and import every time. If you generate more than one tables in desktop, you need to create relationships manually after you finish importing data if they contain command field.

Hi,
I also came across the same issue.
I want to know when we import data ie measures and dimensions from cube it comes in one table inside power BI. And I have imported data from multiple cubes but now how to build relationships between these tables?
In the same report I will be adding power bi dataset source as well in future so how will be the data model design then?
TIA
