Hello
I was trying to connect a google sheet to Power BI so that i could extrat data from the same. But i got the problem - "Relationship tag contains incorrect attribute. Line 2, position 86."
This was weird because i have tried to connect a google sheet to Power BI earlier but did not face this problem before.
Could anyone help me with this?
Thanks a lot in advance
I had the same mistake, it was because in the excel sheet I used I had to download it from google drive and lost the table format. Not noticing this detail threw me the error in PBI, adding the table format disappeared the error. I hope I have helped and confirm if this error is resolved with this tip.
The same thing happened to me when I tried to connect a book with sheets that had pivot tables. I omitted the sheet that had the pivottable and it was fixed
Hiding pivot tables worked for me. Thanks
@Anonymous , In this blog, check the part to connect power bi with Google sheet
You will get a link like
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/<ID>/edit?usp=sharing
And modified it, like this to make it work
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/<ID>/export?format=xlsx&id=<ID>
Then add it as the web sources
Hi @Anonymous ,
Not sure why this error is coming, but check responses on following thread:
Thanks,
Pragati
