4 years agoRelationship Cardinality - Many to one (*:1) issue
I have a dimtable with a distinct key column. When I try to create a relationship with my fact table, pbi desktop forces a many-to-many relationship. I have validatd via powerquery that the key column is 100% distinct, so I have no idea what is going on here.
Any ideas?
I have had issues in the past with trailing spaces on my data causing this issue.
For example Power Query considers "cellContents" and "cellContents " as distinct where Power BI considers them a duplicate value.
