Im sure this is a yes or no answer and probably answered somewjere already but here goes. I have a table in PowerBi that is populated by simply importing from an excel file. Very straight forward.
Every month (until I auotmate it) i need to update this table with fresh data. If I simply right click on the table name and click refresh data is this going to completely replace everything alreasdy in the table or will it add everything again (possibly leading to duplication).
I want to completely replace all the data. Is this the right was to do this?
Hi @Anonymous ,
In Power BI Desktop you could click the refresh button to refresh data, It will replace everything.
Hi @Anonymous, it will refresh the data, meaning that it will look at your excel and get the data that is in it - as you called it, it will replace all the data.
