Hello,
i would need to create a report in power bi desktop. The source for this report will come from files stored in teams (factually in sharepoint). I would get the data in PBI desktop by hitting get data and inputting the path to the files, and then build the report.
However, any updates done on these files would need to be reflected in power bi desktop.
Can the ypdate be achieved directly in PBI desktop, without publishing onto power bi service?

Hi @lav-I101 ,
You can perform a one-time, manual refresh in Power BI Desktop by selecting Refresh on the Home ribbon. When you select Refresh here, the data in the file’s model is refreshed with updated data from the original data source.

Yes, if you click Refresh in Power BI Desktop, then then the data should be updated in Power BI Desktop.
