I recently discovered that when my custom Model View contains of any Custom Tables, the Refresh option will be disabled. This happens only when i upgrade my PBI Desktop version to the October 2022 version recently. In my older version, the refresh option will still be available even if there are any custom tables within the View (But will not be refresh as no refresh option at all for custom tables, as they are usually summarized or duplicate tables)
This is extremely inconvenient especially when we have a big model and we needs to split them into respective smaller Model visual for partial data refreshing purposes. We need to remove all the custom tables from the custom Model View just to refresh the whole custom Model View. This is also not logical when we have relationship link created among the custom tables (Usually duplicate tables) and we need to remove the table just to get the Refresh working. It is also not logical for us to select respective tables within the Model View everytime we need to refresh.
I wonder is this a bug since the older PBI version works but no longer working in the latest PBI desktop version.
