Refresh not pulling in New Data

Hello,

One of my data sources is an .xlsx file that gets updated automatically via Alteryx. Alteryx is a data transformation tool and in this specific case it is appending each week's new data to the bottom of my .xlsx file. I go into the file to confirm that the new data is there, right below the pre-existing data. I refresh my PowerBI report (in Desktop app), and all other data sources refresh properly, but this one never works.. the new data never comes in, even though it is in the actual source file.

Does anyone have any ideas about what could prevent the new data from coming in? There is a step in the power query where i merge the data set with an internal odbc datatable, but even when i go to the first step of promoting headers, the new data isn't there.
