Hi All,
I refresh my report in Power BI desktop by using the refresh button. Is there a way to refresh only the last X days and keep the older data also in the report.
Thanks in advance.

@BYENER ,
I'm afraid this couldn't be achieved in power bi. The dataset in power bi desktop will be replaced with data source when you click refresh button. I would suggest you create a stored precedure to save the old data in database.

Why Power bi is so dumb compared to Tableau , there is no option to refresh monthly or custom date.
Its very simple to introduce , what the heck Microsoft
Would need to use incremental refresh.
I did it, first the parameters then the custom filtered and latest the incremental refresh setting. When I push the refresh button the whole dataset is refreshing again.
Parameter:
StartRange (01.01.2019)
EndRange (31.12.2020)
Incremental refresh settings:
Store rows in the last 2 years
Refresh rows is in the last 7 days.
Expected result: refreshing the last 7 days and keep the last 2 years data in the query. I want to see the last 2 years data in the report view.
I'm having the same issue, have you find the solution?
