Refresh failed because of Changed Password
i have datasource which is a csv file from shared network drive. I added this to a gateway and scheduled refresh. It was refreshing fine.I used my windows credentials for datasource
But I had to change my windows password 2 days back. and the refresh failed becoz of invalid credentials.
So each time i change password, do i need to update datasource credentials? is there any other way to avoid this?
Anonymous you should create some sort of service account which has access to csv file on share environment, and set service account password never expires, and that will do it.
