Refresh Now (on demand) is doing nothing after latest gateway update

Hi Everyone,

I just realize after updating to the latest gateway, I can't use "refresh now" function anymore. When I click the "refresh now" manually, the notification "Preparing for refresh" appears for several seconds, which indicate the function is starting to run, but the refresh is actually not running at all. It used to show "On Demand" in refresh history log, but not anymore.

 

Scheduled refresh is running normally, but not for the on-demand refresh at this moment. I also test with my other gateway that is not yet updated, and showing the same result. FYI, I connect to one data source (MySQL database), credentials and connection to gateway cluster is fine.

 

Last time I trigger on demand refresh is 3-4 days ago, and it was fine. There must be something that changes from Microsoft.

 

Can anyone help me for this issue here? Anyone also has similar situation right now?

Hi @junopowerbi ,

 

Based on my test using the gateway version : 3000.14.39. I canot reproduce your issue here. Could you please wait for a while and refresh the page to check again. Or kindly re-install your gateway to test it one more time.

Based on my test using the gateway version : 3000.14.39. I canot reproduce your issue here. Could you please wait for a while and refresh the page to check again. Or kindly re-install your gateway to test it one more time.

All my On-Demand request appear altogether after several hours, not really sure why it happened at the first place. Anyway, now all the on-demand service is back online. Thanks for your help.
