Refresh Failed - OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataFormat.Error] The input URL is invalid.
Hey guys,
So, I have a SharePoint site that holds 4 main folders, we do daily uploads of Excel files into 1 of these folders. Power BI's data source is the SharePoint site then it is filtered inside of the Query Editor to the correct folder. I have setup automatic refreshes every night inside of the Power BI web app, for about 2 months it has been working just fine. However, about 5 days ago the refresh failed and has failed every night since. I tried refreshing the local copy of the visualization sheet I have stored on my computer and it fails with an OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataFormat.Error] The input URL is invalid message. I have confirmed multiple times that I have access to the site as the account I am logging in as, I am logging in with my Microsoft account and it is set to organizational privacy level.
The thing that is stumping me is inside of the Query Editor I can refresh, and it throws no errors, I am able to see the transformation of the data all the way through. However, when I close and apply or hit refresh in the ribbon it fails with the message. After hitting the refresh button, it looks like it finds the SharePoint site and loads the data however fails near the end of the refreshing sequence. Power BI is the newest version.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Anonymous ,
If you create a new pbix file and connect to this data source, will it work?
