Refresh Excel Table connected to Power BI

Hello all,

I have a visual on a Power BI report that I update every month, there is a period filter I update every month so most up to date sales are shown in the visual.

 

I am trying to create a live excel file which has an export of this table data, however I'm not sure if what I'm asking is possible.

 

Example:
Visual A has data for Months Jan - June and I have exported a live connection excel export of this file.
I have now updated visual A for months Jan - July however when I refresh the file it does not update (only shows Jan - June).

 

Is there a way to upon refresh pull the latest filters on that visual?

    Hey, nh27  as per my knowledge this type of functionality is not there in power bi. You have to export data every time you change the slicer.

    If this helps you then please mark my solution as accepted o that other can find it quickly while facing the same issue. Thank You!
